REF NO/COMMENTS

Use this subtask to assign reference numbers to the employee. Set up Payroll Reference Numbers in Costpoint Payroll. You can also use this subtask to enter any additional comments about this employee that are related to Salary Info and History.

You must have already set up an employee in the Basic Employee Info and the main Salary Info and History screen before adding him here.

Employee

The employee ID will default from the main screen. The employee name will default from the main screen into the unlabeled adjacent field.

Ref 1

If you are using the Reference Number feature, enter, or use Lookup to select, the value for the reference 1 number that is normally assigned to this employee. This is validated against the Reference table. This optional field is not used as a default for timesheet entry; it is for informational and report-sorting purposes. The default reference 1 for timesheet entry is in the Defaults subtask of the Basic Employee Info screen.

Ref 2

If you are using the Reference Number feature, enter, or use Lookup to select, the value for the reference 2 number that is assigned to this employee. This is validated against the Reference table. This optional field is not used as a default for timesheet entry; it is for informational and report-sorting purposes. The default reference 2 for timesheet entry is in the Defaults subtask of the Basic Employee Info screen.
