TIMESHEET DEFAULTS

Use this subtask to enter the Default Overtime State, Time Collection Timesheet Schedule and Work Schedule values that will be downloaded to Time Collection version 5 through the Download to Time Collection application under the Time Collection (ET) Interface menu in Costpoint Labor.

You can also use the Update TC Timesheet/Work Schedule application (located in Miscellaneous Functions under the Utilities menu in Costpoint Labor) to update Time Collection Timesheet Schedule and Work Schedule values for a given range of employees.

You must have already established an employee in the Basic Employee Info screen and in the main screen before adding information here. Also be sure that your settings are configured correctly in Costpoint Time Collection.

Employee

These non-editable fields display the employee ID and name from the main screen.

Effective Date

This field displays the date on which a salary change becomes effective from the main screen.

Timesheet Header Defaults

Overtime State

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the state in which overtime is applicable for this employee.

Time Collection

TC Work Schedule

Enter the Time Collection Work Schedule value that will be downloaded to Time Collection version 5 or above through the Download to Time Collection utility. You may enter up to 10 alphanumeric characters in this field. Work schedules define workdays, non-workdays, off days, and holidays in Costpoint Time Collection, where you can provide the system with important information on the presentation and edit of time entry. This field is enabled only if the Time Collection (ET) Version is "Time Collection 5" or above in the Corporate Labor Settings subtask in the Labor Settings screen in Costpoint Labor. If you are not licensed for Costpoint Electronic Timesheet or Costpoint Time Collection, this field will be disabled.

TC Timesheet Schedule

Enter the Time Collection Timesheet Schedule value that will be downloaded to Time Collection version 5 or above through the Download to Time Collection utility. You may enter up to 10 alphanumeric characters in this field. Timesheet schedules are used to provide the starting and ending dates for timesheets and to provide the scope of a specific period. In Costpoint Time Collection, timesheets are signed and approved according to the timesheet schedules (e.g., "Weekly," "Bi-weekly," "Semi-monthly," and "Monthly"). If you are not licensed for Costpoint Electronic Timesheet or Costpoint Time Collection, or "None" is selected for the Time Collection (ET) Version in the Corporate Labor Settings subtask in the Labor Settings screen in Costpoint Labor, this field will be disabled.
