CREW ASSIGNMENT

Use this screen to define crew information. In this screen, you can create a user-defined crew ID and associate that ID with an effective date, a crew chief, and crew employees. To access this screen, you must have selected the Enable Union Functionality checkbox in the Labor Settings screen.

Use this screen as part of your initial crew setup or whenever a crew changes.

Crew ID

Enter the crew ID you want to assign to this crew. You can enter up to six alphanumeric characters in this required field.

Description

Enter a description of up to 30 characters for this crew ID. This is a required field.

Effective Date

Enter the crew's effective date. This is a required field.

Crew Chief

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ID of the employee assigned as crew chief. The crew chief must be an active union employee. This is a required field.

The crew chief's name will default into the field to the right when you enter the crew chief ID.

Employees

Employee

This column displays the employee ID for all employees who are eligible for this crew. Employees shown in this table will have the same union ID as the assigned crew chief, who will also be listed in this table. To select employees for inclusion in the crew, highlight any row that should be included. Then use the Select pushbutton to move the highlighted rows to the Crew table.

Name

This column displays the employee name for all employees who are eligible for this crew. Employees shown in this table will have the same union ID as the assigned crew chief, who will also be listed in this table. To select employees for inclusion in the crew, highlight any row that should be included. Then use the Select pushbutton to move the highlighted rows to the Crew table.

Local ID

This column displays the local ID for all employees who are eligible for this crew. Employees shown in this table will have the same union ID as the assigned crew chief, who will also be listed in this table. To select employees for inclusion in the crew, highlight any row that should be included. Then use the Select pushbutton to move the highlighted rows to the Crew table.

Crew

Crew Employee ID

This column displays the crew employee ID of the employees selected for this crew. To remove employees, highlight any row that should be eliminated from the Crew table. Then use the Deselect pushbutton to move the highlighted rows back to the Employees table.

Crew Employee Name

This column displays the name of the employees selected for this crew. To remove employees, highlight any row that should be eliminated from the Crew table. Then use the Deselect pushbutton to move the highlighted rows back to the Employees table.

Select

Use this pushbutton to move highlighted rows from the Employees table to the Crew table.

Deselect

Use this pushbutton to move highlighted rows from the Crew table to the Employees table.
