EXPEDITING NOTES

Use this subtask to view the expediting notes for the selected part and inventory abbreviation.

Part

This field displays the ID of the part in the selected inventory record. The part description displays in the unlabeled field below this field.

Rev

This field displays the part revision number of the selected inventory record.

U/M

This field displays the default or inventory unit of measure for the selected part.

Make/Buy

This field displays the "M" (Make)/"B" (Buy)" status of the selected part.

Inv Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation code of the selected inventory record.  The inventory abbreviation displays to the right of the field.

Text Box

This text box displays the most recent revision of the expediting notes associated with the selected part/inventory abbreviation.

These notes are entered in the Requirements subtask of the Enter Manufacturing Orders screen in Costpoint Production Control. For a given part/revision and inventory abbreviation, the most recent notes will be displayed.
