SERIAL/LOT USER DEFINED LABELS

Use this screen to define user-defined field labels for use with the Serial/Lot tracking portion of Costpoint Inventory. These labels become column headings for lines in serial/lot assignment/disposition screens for inventory transactions. You can use this feature to add reference notes to serial/lot lines.

Set up this screen before processing inventory transactions requiring serial/lot tracking, if reference fields are to be filled in. However, you can add or modify labels at any time. Any transactions after a modification will have the new column heading in serial/lot assignment or disposition screens. You can also maintain Serial/Lot User Defined Labels in the Serial/Lot User Defined Labels screen in Costpoint Sales Order Entry.
