PRINT COMPA-RATIO

Summary

Use this screen to print a report that presents employees' Compa-ratio statistics. The Compa-ratio statistic is the employee's percent-of-midpoint within the salary range for the compensation plan grade to which the employee is assigned. The report compares the most current information in the Compensation Plan Salary Ranges table to the employee's salary, regardless of the compensation plans' effective dates.

Timing

You can print this report at any time after establishing compensation plan salary ranges and after assigning detail job titles and compensation plans to employees in the Salary Info and History screen in Costpoint Employee.

Primary Sort

Use the options in this group box to select the order in which you want the report to print.

Home Organization

Select this radio button to sort the report by the home organization that is assigned to the employee in the Salary Info and History screen in Costpoint Employee. If your primary sort is by Home Organization, you must then select either Employee Name or Employee ID for your secondary sort.

Employee Name

Select this radio button to sort the report by employee name.

Employee ID

Select this radio button to sort the report by employee ID.

Secondary Sort

The radio buttons in this sort box are activated based on your selection in the Primary Sort group box. If you print this report by Home Organization, the Employee ID and Employee Name radio buttons will be available for selection here. If you select Employee Name or Employee ID in the Primary Sort group box, the None radio button will default for this group box.

Employee Name

Select this radio button to print the report by employee name for employees within a home organization. If you select Employee Name or Employee ID in the Primary Sort group box, this radio button is disabled.

Employee ID

Select this radio button to print the report by employee ID for employees within a home organization. If you select Employee Name or Employee ID for your primary sort, this radio button is disabled.

None

This radio button is disabled if the primary sort you select is by Home Organization. In that case, you must select either Employee Name or Employee ID for your secondary sort. If you select Employee Name or Employee ID for your primary sort, this radio button is the only choice available.

Select Employees

Use the fields in this group box to select the range of employees to include on this report.

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select the employee range: "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End."

If you select "All," the From and To fields are disabled; if you select "One," the To field is disabled; if you select "From Beginning" the From field is disabled; and if you select "To End" the To field is disabled.

From

If your Range Option selection is "One," "Range," or "To End," enter, or use Lookup to select, the employee ID with which you wish to start.

To

If your Range Option selection is "Range" or "From Beginning," enter, or use Lookup to select, the employee ID with which you wish to end.

Select Home Organization

Use the fields in this group box to select the range of home organizations to include in this report.

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select the home organization range: "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End."

If your Range Option selection is "One," "Range," or "To End," enter, or use Lookup to select, the home organization with which you wish to start.

If your Range Option selection is "Range" or "From Beginning," enter, or use Lookup to select, the home organization with which you wish to end.

Run Date

Enter the run date for this report. The Run Date must fall within the start and end dates of the compensation plan. If the Run Date does not fall within the start and end dates of the compensation plan selected, nothing will be printed.
