COMPENSATION PLAN DEFAULTS
Use this screen to link a taxable entity, labor group/union, labor location/local,
or a combination of the three to a compensation plan, which in turn allows
you to populate the employee table using an automated process.
Populate this table as part of your system initialization.
Labor Group/Union
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the three-character alphanumeric code
for this labor group or union. Establish labor groups/unions in Costpoint
Labor. This is not a required field.
Note: This field will be entitled Union if you selected
the Enable Union Functionality checkbox in the Labor Settings screen
in Costpoint Labor. If you did not select the Enable Union Functionality
checkbox in the Labor Settings screen, this field will be entitled
Labor Group.
Labor Location/Local
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the 12-character alphanumeric code for
this location or local, if you are using union functionality. Establish
locations/locals in Costpoint Labor. This is not a required field.
Note: This field will be entitled Local if you selected the
Enable Union Functionality checkbox in the Labor Settings screen
in Costpoint Labor. If you did not select the Enable Union Functionality
checkbox in the Labor Settings screen, this field will be entitled
Labor Location.
Hint: Although neither the Labor Group/Union nor
the Labor Location/Local field is required, you will not normally
leave both fields blank for a compensation plan. A compensation plan should
be linked to a labor group and/or a labor location.
Compensation Plan
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the six-character alphanumeric compensation
plan code to link to this taxable entity, labor group, or labor location.
This is a required field.
