WORKER'S COMP FILING REASONS

Use this screen to enter reason codes by state for filing workers' compensation claims. The reporting requirements may vary from state to state. This screen includes reason codes, as mandated by a particular state, and the description associated with each code. Examples of reasons include "lost time exceeds seven days," "medical expenses exceed $1,000," and "permanent disability or disfigurement may be involved."

Other screens and programs use the codes and descriptions you enter in this screen. Therefore, you should set up the Worker's Comp Filing Reasons screen before you go to the next menu option. You can add to this table any time and establish an unlimited number of codes and descriptions.
