INTERNAL SECURITY IDENTIFIERS

Use this screen to uniquely identify any internal security codes that have been established for your company. You can then assign these codes to individual employees.

Use this screen whenever you need to add new internal security identifiers or to change existing ones. You must establish federal security identifiers before you can initialize this screen.

Table Window

Internal Security Code

Select the New Line button on the toolbar and enter a code of up to 12 alphanumeric characters in this required field.

Description

Enter up to 30 alphanumeric characters to describe the Internal Security Code in this required field.

Federal Security

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the Federal security code that corresponds to the Internal Security Code. This is a required field.

Hint:  If you do not use federal security codes, we recommend that you set up one universal "dummy" code in the Federal Security Identifier screen to use for this required field.

Description

When you enter a Federal security code, the code's description, which was established in the Federal Security Identifiers screen, defaults.

Building Name

Enter up to 25 alphanumeric characters in this optional field to identify the building name to which this code applies.

Building Floor Name

Enter up to 25 alphanumeric characters to identify the floor in the building to which this code applies. This is an optional field, unless a Building Name has been assigned. If this code is for all floors of a building, you can use "All" as the floor identifier.

Building Area Name

Enter up to 25 alphanumeric characters to identify a specific area in the building to which this code applies. This is an optional field.

Table Information

Changes to this screen update the H_INTRNL_SECURITY table.
