SECTION IV - LEAVE

Use this subtask to enter information related to the employee leave types that you elected to include on this exit interview form.

Identification

This group box displays non-editable fields that show information from the main screen.

Effective Date

This non-editable field displays the effective date assigned to this form. This information defaults from the header information on the main screen.

Employee

This non-editable field displays the employee ID for this record. The employee's name displays to the right. This information defaults from the header information on the main screen.

Exit Interview Form

This non-editable field displays the ID for the exit interview form. The description of the form displays to the right.  This information defaults from the header information on the main screen.

Leave

This table window displays the standard text relating to employee leave in the order you selected in the Exit Interview Form Setup screen in Costpoint Personnel. You can add more lines in this table for employee leave information.

Order Number

This non-editable field displays the sequence number of the line on which this text appears. Valid values are from "1" to "99." You can add more lines in this table.

Leave Type

This field displays the leave type(s) that you selected in the Exit Interview Form Setup screen. If you did not select any leave types, you can enter, or use Lookup to select, the leave types applicable to this employee.

Description

This non-editable field displays the description of the leave type selected for this line.

Hours

Enter the number of hours owed to this employee for this leave type. You can also use Lookup to obtain the employee's current leave balance.

Hint:  If you use Lookup, you will get the employee's leave balance as of the last labor posting and the last leave accrual. Do not forget to make any adjustments for leave used or accruals owed.

Dollars

Enter the dollar amount owed to this employee for this leave type. The system will generate a dollar figure for you if you enter the Hours first (Leave Hours times Current Hourly Rate). You can overwrite this amount.
