Use this subtask to establish information about an employee's skills and track changes to skills as they occur.
Initialize this screen after establishing the Skills Code table in the Training menu in Costpoint Personnel.
These non-editable fields display the ID and name of the employee for whom you are initiating this subtask. This information defaults from the main screen.
These non-editable fields display the employee's home organization and its description. This information defaults from the main screen.
These non-editable fields display the employee's detail job title and its description. This information defaults from the main screen.
Select the New Line button on the toolbar and enter, or use Lookup to select, the skills code. You can enter up to 10 alphanumeric characters in this required field.
After you have entered the skills code, the description will be displayed.
Enter the number of years this employee has had experience with this skill in this optional field.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the code for the skill level that applies to this skill. This is an optional field.
When you enter a valid Skill Level, its description displays in this column.
Enter date, in "MM/DD/YYYY" format, on which this particular skill and/or skill level was acquired. This is an optional field.
