Use this subtask to set up a list of courses for which the employee has registered or has completed during his employment with the company.
Enter this information when initializing the Education, Skills & Training Data screen, or whenever you need to change the information. You must have already established the Course Code table in the Training menu in Costpoint Personnel before entering information in this screen.
These non-editable fields display the ID and name of the employee for whom you are initiating this subtask. This information defaults from the main screen.
These non-editable fields display the employee's home organization and its description. This information defaults from the main screen.
These non-editable fields display the employee's detail job title and its description. This information defaults from the main screen.
Select the New Line button on the toolbar and enter, or use Lookup to select, the 10-character course code. This is a required field.
This non-editable field displays the course title associated with the course code.
Enter up to 25 alphanumeric characters to identify the learning institution where the course was taken. This is a required field.
Enter the beginning date of the course in "MM/DD/YYYY" format.
Enter the date on which the course ended in "MM/DD/YYYY" format.
Enter up to five alphanumeric characters to indicate the grade the employee received in the course.
If this course is fulfilling degree requirements, enter the degree code, or use Lookup to select the appropriate code. You can enter up to 10 alphanumeric characters in this optional field.
If this is company-paid education, enter the estimated cost for the course in this optional field.
If this is company-paid education, enter the actual cost for the course in optional field.
Enter the date on which the check was written to pay for this course (if it is company-paid). This is an optional field.
Enter the number of the check that was issued for payment of this course in this optional field.
If this course is related to the employee's current position, enter a "Y" (Yes); otherwise, enter "N" (No).
