PRINT HIGH COMP ANALYSIS RPT

Use this screen to print the Highly Compensated Analysis Report. This report classifies employees into the following, based on information entered for the plan in the Plan Tax Information screen:

The report displays this information for both the current plan year and the lookback year. The lookback year is normally the prior plan year. However, if you selected the Calendar Year Election for Lookback Year checkbox in the Plan Setup screen, you modified the time period of the lookback year to coincide with the previous calendar year.

You must complete all of the Plan Controls and Employee Setup screens for any plan codes for which you wish to print this report.

Select

All Taxable Entities

Select this checkbox to include all taxable entities on the report.

Taxable Entity

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the taxable entity for this report.

Plan

Plan

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the deferred compensation plan code for which you wish to run this report.

From Date

Enter the starting date to use for running this report. This would normally be the start date of the current plan year.

To Date

When you enter the From Date, the system calculates the date in this field as one year minus one day from the From Date. This field is non-editable.

Primary Sort

Use these radio buttons to specify the method in which information will be sorted on this report.

Employee ID

Select this radio button to specify the employee ID as the primary sort for this report. If you select this option, the Secondary Sort defaults to None and cannot be changed.

Employee Name

Select this radio button to specify the employee's name (the Displayed Name from the Basic Employee Info screen in Costpoint Employee) as the primary sort. If you select this option, the Secondary Sort defaults to None and cannot be changed.

Action Needed

Select this radio button to specify the Action Needed as the primary sort for this report.

Secondary Sort

You can change the selection in this sort only if you select Action Needed as your Primary sort. If you select Employee ID or Employee Name for your Primary Sort, you cannot change the default option of None for this group box.

Employee ID

Select this radio button to print the report by employee ID.  If you select Employee ID or Employee Name for your Primary Sort, this radio button is disabled, and the None radio button is automatically selected.

Employee Name

Select this radio button to print the report by employee name.  If you select Employee Name or Employee ID for your Primary Sort, this radio button is disabled, and the None radio button is automatically selected.

None

This radio button is disabled if the Primary Sort is by Action Needed. If you select Employee ID or Employee Name as the Primary Sort, this radio button is automatically selected, and the Employee ID and Employee Name radio buttons in this group box are disabled.

Options

Base High Comp on Top Paid Group

Select this checkbox if an employee is in the top 20% wage bracket and should be considered Highly Compensated.
