Use this screen to print a comparison of the employment percentage by race and gender in each EEO Code/Job Group with the availability percentage calculated for each factor. The analysis is based upon the 12-month period before the screen Effective Date. The application can also compare the minority and female availability with the percentage of minorities and females employed to determine whether there is underutilization of either protected class.
Use the report from this application to compare percentages for each EEO Code/Job Group code for an Affirmative Action Plan. Be sure that the data in the Weighted Percentage Setup and Applicant Data subtasks of the Affirmative Action Plans screen are current and accurate, as well as the data for the Census Code in the Census Data screen.
Use this group box to enter the affirmative action plan for which you want to print.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the affirmative action plan for which you want to print this report. This is a required field. The unlabeled field to the right displays the plan description.
This non-editable field displays the start date of the selected affirmative action plan.
This non-editable field displays the end date of the selected affirmative action plan.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the census company that was used to obtain the relevant census data. This is a required field. Census data is entered under the Affirmative Action Plan Setup menu. The census data description displays in the field to the right. The Start Date and End Date fields display the dates for which the census data is valid for the Census company.
This non-editable field displays the start date of the census data for the selected census company.
This non-editable field displays the end date of the census data for the selected census company.
Enter the effective date of this report. This field defaults with the plan's Coverage Start Date, but can be changed. Employees whose termination date is later than the first day of the plan year and whose hire date is earlier than, or the same as, the first day of the plan year will be included.
Use this drop-down box to select the range of job groups to include on the report. Valid options are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." Job groups are established under the Affirmative Action Controls menu.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the starting job group to include on the report. If you selected "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ending job group to include on the report. If you selected "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Use this drop-down box to select the range of EEO codes to include on the report. Valid options are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." EEO codes are established in the Affirmative Action Controls menu. If you selected the EEO-1 Report radio button in the EEO Setup screen, EEO-1 Codes one through nine will be available in the From and To fields. If you selected the EEO-4 Report radio button in the EEO Setup screen, EEO-4 Codes one through eight will be available in the From and To fields.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the starting EEO code to include on the report. If you selected "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ending EEO code to include on the report. If you selected "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
If you select this checkbox, the report will include availability data at the functional job title level (grouped by job group/EEO code), as well as the sum of the availability percentages to determine the job group/EEO code Availability.
Select this checkbox to include utilization information on the report. If you select this checkbox, the application will determine whether or not there is an underutilization of females or minorities, and the report will include a utilization column that shows the results.
After you populate this screen and select the Preview or Print buttons from the toolbar, the application selects those employees that are assigned to the specified Affirmative Action Plan and employed as of the screen Effective Date.
Additionally, if the Salary Info and History radio button is selected in the Affirmative Action Settings screen, employees are selected based on the following criteria:
The employee record's Affirmative Action Plan is the same as the specified Affirmative Action Plan in this screen.
The Effective Date (in this screen) falls within the Effective Date and End Date for the employee record in the Salary Info and History screen.
The Effective Date is Term Date checkbox is not selected for the employee record in the Salary Info and History screen.
If the Basic Employee Info radio button is selected in the Affirmative Action Settings screen, employees are selected according to the following criteria:
The employee record's Affirmative Action Plan is the same as the specified Affirmative Action Plan in this screen.
The Effective Date (in this screen) falls within the Effective Date and End Date for the employee record in the Salary Info and History screen.
In the Basic Employee Info screen, the employee's Termination date is null or is later than screen's Effective Date, or
The employee's Current Hire date or Adj Hire date is the same as, or earlier than, this screen's Effective Date.
