Use this screen to set up census data sources and to enter the census data supplied by this source, or calculated from several sources, for each affirmative action plan. There is no limit to the number of census data sources you can establish.
Set up this screen as part of the Costpoint Human Resources initialization.
Use the fields in this group box to establish a unique identification for your census code(s).
Enter up to 10 characters to uniquely identify this census source. This is a required field.
Enter up to 30 alphanumeric characters as a description for this census code ID. This is a required field.
Enter the start date for this census code. The date format is "MM/DD/YYYY." This is a required field.
Use this field to enter up to 20 alphanumeric characters of free-form text to specify the source of the census data. This value will be used on the Availability/Utilization Report.
Enter the end date for this census code. The date format is "MM/DD/YYYY." This is a required field.
Use this group box to enter population data for Factor 1 that will be used in the Availability/Utilization Report.
In this 10-character field, enter the census job title, provided by the census source, that you want to link to a functional job title. This is a required field.
In this 10-character field, enter the census match number (or "job number"), provided by the census source that is associated with this census job title. This is a required field.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the functional job title that you want linked to this census job title. Establish Functional Job Title information under the Job Titles menu in Costpoint Compensation. If you select the Import Func Job Titles pushbutton, all functional job titles, descriptions, and assigned EEO codes will default into the table window.

Enter the population, provided by the census source or calculated for your labor area, that is associated with this census job title.
Enter the female percentage, provided by the census source or calculated for your labor area, that is associated with this census job title.
Enter the minority percentage, provided by the census source or calculated for your labor area, that is associated with this census job title. This column should equal the sum of the next four columns for each census job title.
Enter the Black percentage, provided by the census source or calculated for your labor area, that is associated with this census job title.
Enter the Asian percentage, provided by the census source or calculated for your labor area, that is associated with this census job title.
Enter the Native American percentage, provided by the census source or calculated for your labor area, that is associated with this census job title.
Enter the Hispanic percentage, provided by the census source or calculated for your labor area, that is associated with this census job title.
Use this pushbutton to import the available functional job titles into the table window. Functional Job Title information is established under the Job Titles menu in Costpoint Compensation.
