PRINT ORGANIZATIONAL LISTING

Use this screen to print a listing of basic information about organizations you have set up in Costpoint. This report shows you the organization ID, name, abbreviation, active status, period of activity, and the taxable entity ID. You can print this report for all or a range of organizations, for all or a range of fiscal years and accounting periods, and for active organizations only, if desired.

You can print this report at any time. It is especially useful for verifying the entry of your organization structure and elements after you have set up organizations in the Define Org Structures screen and the Maintain Org Elements screen.

Note: Org security can be applied to this function. Use this optional feature to grant or remove rights for individual users to view and/or update specific organizations. In order to do so, you must first set up the necessary org security screens in Costpoint System Administration. You can then activate org security through the use of the Maintain Users and System Settings screens. For more information about org security and how to apply it, see System Administration Special Topic SA-5, "Organizational Security," and the documentation for the Organizational Security menu in Costpoint System Administration.

Retention

This report is not part of the system audit trail, and therefore retention is not required. You can print it at any time. However, you may want to maintain a current copy of this report for reference purposes.

Select Organizations

Use this group box to select the organizations to be included on the report.

Range Option

From the drop-down box, select the range option for the organizations you want to include on this report. The available selections are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End."

From/To

Enter the starting and/or ending organization codes for the range of organizations you want to include on this report. One or both of these fields may be disabled, depending on your Range Option selection.

Select Active Periods

Use this group box to select the active periods to be included on the report.

Range Option

From the drop-down box, select the range option for the active periods you need to include on this report. The available selections are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End."

Starting/Ending Fiscal Year and Period

Enter the starting and/or ending active periods to be included on this report. Organizations with active periods outside this range will not be printed on the report.

Include

Inactive Organization Elements

Select this checkbox to include organizations that are set to "inactive" on the report. Leave this checkbox unchecked to print only active organizations.

Report Sources

The information on this report is maintained in the Define Org Structures and the Maintain Org Elements screens.

Hint: You can use the Save button on the toolbar to save your report parameters. Once the parameters are saved, you can use Query to retrieve them the next time you print.
