Use this screen to access General Ledger cash accounts in order to make adjustments to foreign currency. You can make online adjustments to bank balances for reasons such as service charges or fluctuations in the exchange rate.
You can also use this screen to see your General Ledger cash accounts expressed in both your company's functional currency and the currency in which the account is denominated.
Before using this screen, you must have first set up the bank and EFT information in the Maintain Company Bank Accounts screen. It is important that you have the correct bank abbreviations linked to the cash accounts before posting any cash transactions. This will allow easier bank reconciliations when working with multiple currencies.
Enter, or use to select, a bank abbreviation. These are the banks you set up in the Maintain Company Bank Accounts screen.
Select this option to summarize all like transaction types by date in the table window. For example, the total amount of receipts summarized by receipt date is displayed when the Summary option is selected. Each date containing adjustments will display on one row and each date for cash receipts will also display on one row.
Select this option to list all transactions in the table window. Additional information such as the transaction ID, transaction name, and transaction number will also display.
The bank ID and name will default into these fields.
This field displays the bank account currency.
After you select the fiscal year and click the Fill Table button, your company's beginning bank balance, in the bank account's currency, is displayed in this field.

Enter the fiscal year, or use the drop-down list to select one.
In the untitled field to the right, select the desired range option to indicate through which date you want the bank transaction history computed. Valid options are All, One, Range, From Beginning, and To End.

Before clicking this button, you should complete the Create Bank Transactions History screen.
When you click this button, the system will populate the table window with transactions for the time period you selected.
This column is display-only and cannot be edited. Accounts Payable transactions display as AP in this column. Cash Receipts transactions display as CR in this column. Payroll transactions display as PR in this column.
For CR, AP, and/or PR transaction types, the transaction date automatically displays in this column and cannot be edited. For CR transactions, the receipt date displays in this column. For AP and PR transactions, the check date (or direct deposit date, as appropriate) displays in this column.
The check box in this display-only column will be selected if you entered a date outside the range that you specified in the From/To drop-down lists in the header.
For CR, AP, and/or PR transaction types, the number from the historical transaction automatically displays in this column and cannot be edited. For CR transactions, the receipt number displays in this column. For AP and PR transactions, the check number displays in this column.
This column displays a transaction amount in the foreign currency as indicated by the currency code.
This column displays the bank balance in the foreign currency.
This column displays the transaction amount expressed in your company's functional currency.
This column displays your company's bank balance expressed in your company's functional currency.
This column displays the transaction ID from the historical transaction. Depending on the type of transaction, this column could display a check, voucher, or EFT number.
For CR, AP, and/or PR transaction types, this non-editable field automatically displays the name from the historical transaction. For CR transactions, this column will be blank. For AP transactions, the pay vendor name displays in this column. For PR transactions, the last and first name of the employee display in this column.
For CR, AP, and PR transaction types, there is no historical transaction description available. The system automatically writes the transaction source to this column, where it cannot be edited. For CR transactions, the system writes Cash Receipt in this column. For AP transactions, the system writes AP Transaction in this column. For PR transactions, the system writes PR Transaction in this column.
The following columns are editable only in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask.
The cash account you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The cash organization you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The reference number 1 you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The reference number 2 you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The fiscal year you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The period you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The subperiod you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The account name you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The organization name you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The reference 1 name you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
The reference 2 name you selected in the Adjustments and Revalue subtask will display in this column.
