Use this screen to specify which journal entry types require approval and a transaction amount limit, if any, above which the approval requirement applies for each type.

Enter Y to require approval for transactions of this JE Type before the system posts them. Enter N, the default value, to allow the system to post transactions of this JE Type without approval.
Enter the amount above which journal entry debits and credits of this JE Type require approval before the system posts them. To require approval of all journal entries of this JE Type regardless of transaction amount, accept the default value of 0.00.
