MAINTAIN REORGANIZATION ELEMENTS

Use this screen to set up reorganization numbers and link them to existing organizations. This is the maintenance screen for all lower levels of the reorganization. Data entered in this screen is stored in the Reorganization Elements table.

The structure entered here must coincide with the structure defined in the Define Reorganization Structures screen. The top level of the reorganization structure must already have been set up in the Define Reorganization Structures screen before you can set up any lower-level elements in this screen.

You must first set up any "parent" (or higher) levels of the reorg before you can enter related "child" (or lower) levels of that reorg. For example, if you are setting up reorg element "5.3.1," you must first set up the top level "5" of the reorg in the Define Reorganization Structures screen. Then you must set up the next level, element "5.3," before you can set up the lower-level element "5.3.1."  You cannot enter element "5.3.1" until both elements "5" and "5.3" exist.

Enter the number for the reorg you need to set up.

Name

Enter a descriptive name for the reorganization number. This name will display on screens and reports to help identify the reorganization number.

Level Number

The level of the reorganization number is automatically displayed and cannot be changed. It is based on the reorganization number entered here and on the reference structure set up in the Define Ref Structures screen.
