Use this screen to link reorg elements and base orgs. The linkages can be done in groups, which will expedite the process. (The Reorganization Organization Links table is updated.)
Use this screen to set up a relationship between a reorganization number hierarchy and the organizations that make it up. You can also link reorganization numbers with orgs in the Maintain Reorg/Org Links screen and the Link Reorganizations to Orgs subtask of the Maintain Reorganization Elements screen.
You must link reorganization numbers with organizations before you can use them in alternate reporting structure reports. Reorganization numbers and organizations must already be set up before they are available for linking in this screen.
When the screen is initialized, all existing Reorganization numbers and their names are loaded into the table window in this group box. You can move up and down in this table window in several ways: Slider, Search, Up and Down arrows, Page Up, and Page Down. As you enter characters into the Search field, the contents of the table window scroll to the matching position in the table. You can also use Subquery to select a subset of the available reorganization numbers to populate this table window.

Select the organization(s) you need to link with the selected reorganization number. (Note that all accounts connected to the selected organization(s) will be picked up by the linked reorganization at run-time whenever a report is printed by reorg.) You can select one org at a time by clicking on the row. To select more than one, click the mouse and drag it down. To select multiple rows where they are not consecutive, press shift while clicking on the additional rows.
Note that there are no limits to how many orgs you link to a single reorg, or vice versa. In general, a single reorg can contain one or more orgs. However, you should link a single org to only one reorg in a given reorg structure, or you will duplicate data when running reports by reorg. When setting up your reorg/org links, be careful that you do not duplicate orgs inappropriately.
Use this pushbutton to link reorganization numbers with organizations. Once you begin this process, your computer will be unavailable to you for other tasks. Note that this process can take some time to complete.
Use this pushbutton to remove any highlighted rows from the Selected Reorgs/Orgs table window.
This table window represents the linkages created when you use the Select pushbutton as described above. To deselect reorg/org combinations, highlight the row(s) you want to remove, then press the Deselect pushbutton.
