You can use inventory tracking field labels to establish up to eight additional user-defined inventory categories, such as "Counted By," "Condition," and so on. Inventory tracking labels automatically display in the Maintain Inventory Info screen, in which inventory data for all types of property records can be entered and stored. (Inventory labels also display automatically in the Create Inventory Transactions and Edit Inventory Transactions screens, where you can automatically populate the Maintain Inventory Info screen with inventory data for selected ranges of records.)
You can use maintenance tracking field labels to establish up to nine additional user-defined maintenance categories, such as "Type," "Vendor," "Cost," and so on. (Maintenance tracking capability includes a special-purpose numeric field in which to record maintenance costs in addition to eight available text fields.) (Maintenance labels also display automatically in the Create Maintenance Transactions and Edit Maintenance Transactions screens, where you can automatically populate the Maintain Maintenance Info screen with inventory data for selected ranges of records.)
You can use transfer tracking field labels to establish up to eight additional user-defined transfer categories, such as "From," "To," "Approved By," and so on. Although you can establish and change the labels in this screen at any time, you may find it more convenient to decide on the label names before you begin to enter data in the Maintain Inventory Info, Maintain Maintenance Info, and Maintain Transfer Info screens. To achieve consistency throughout your records, you should plan for and establish as much of this data as possible during your initialization procedures.
