PRINT ECN IMPACT REPORT

Print this report to see the potential impact of an ECN on existing inventory, requisitions, and orders. You can use this report to identify materials affected by an ECN and identify the changes required to implement an ECN. You can view the original parts called out in a selected range. Once a part is identified, you can identify the inventory, purchase orders, requisitions, manufacturing orders, sales orders, and reservations that will either use that part or control the manufacture or purchase of it.

Note: Be sure to check the settings in the ECN Report Print Options screen before running this report.

Select ECN

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select a range of ECNs to include in the report. The system-defined selections include "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End."

From

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ECN ID that is to be the starting point of the report affected by the ECN.

To

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ECN ID that is to be the ending point of the report affected by the ECN.

Impacted Group

Select "All" or a specific group to be included in the selected ECN

Select ECN Date

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select a range of ECNs by date to include in the report. The system-defined selections include "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End."

From

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the date of the ECN ID that is to be the starting point of the report affected by the ECN.

To

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the date of the ECN ID that is to be the ending point of the report affected by the ECN.

Primary Sort

Use this group box to customize the sorting criteria of the report.

ECN

Select this radio button to sort the report by ECN ID.

Part

Select this radio button to sort the report by parts affected by the selected ECNs.

Report Options

Use this group box to include or exclude certain types of notes.

Print ECN Notes

Select this checkbox to include notes about the selected ECNs on the report.

Print Implementation Notes

Select this checkbox to include implementation notes about the selected ECNs on the report.

Select ECN Status

Use the options in this group box to include or exclude certain ECN statuses on the report.

Pending

Select this checkbox to include pending ECNs.

In Approval

Select this checkbox to include in-approval ECNs

Approved

Select this checkbox to include approved ECNs.

Docs Updated

Select this checkbox to include ECNs with a status of docs updated.

Implemented

Select this checkbox to include implemented ECNs.

Closed

Select this checkbox to include closed ECNs.

Select Original Part/Rev

Range Option

Select Inventory Project

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select which projects' inventory, order, and requirement data will be printed on the report. The system-defined selections include "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End."

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the inventory project ID that is to be the starting point of the report.

To

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the inventory project ID that is to be the ending point of the report.

Include

Use the options in this group box to include or exclude certain items on the report.

Inventory

Select this checkbox to include current inventory quantities and locations for the selected parts.

Reservations

Select this checkbox to include inventory issue, transfer, and PO reservations for the selected parts.

Purch Reqs

Select this checkbox to include purchase requisitions for the selected parts.

On-Hold ECNs

Select this checkbox to include ECNs where the Hold checkbox is selected in the Maintain ECNs screen for the ECN ID.

Purch Orders

Select this checkbox to include purchase orders for the selected parts.

Mfg Orders

Select this checkbox to include manufacturing orders and inventory requirements for the selected parts.

Sales Orders

Select this checkbox to include sales order reservations for the selected parts.

Include On-Hold ECNs

Select this checkbox to include ECNs that have been placed on hold.

MBOM Assemblies

Select this checkbox to include MBOM assembly parts that are affected by the ECN.  Each MBOM assembly that is affected by the selected component parts will display.

MBOM Components

Select this checkbox to include MBOM components that are affected by the selected assembly parts and/or matching ECN original parts.

EBOM Assemblies

Select this checkbox to include EBOM assembly parts affected by the ECN. Each EBOM assembly that is affected by the selected component parts will display.

EBOM Components

Select this checkbox to include EBOM components that are affected by the selected assembly parts and/or matching ECN original parts.
