COPY PART ASSEMBLIES DATA

Use this subtask to copy an assembly from another part/revision. This subtask is disabled if the Assembly Part field is populated for the selected line in the EBOM Change-To Part Assemblies table window.

Component Part to Copy

Part

Enter, use the LookUp pushbutton or the Lookup Prov Part pushbutton to select, the component part ID from which you want to copy assembly parts. This field is required. The component part ID must be a valid one from the Maintain EBOM screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.

The part description will display in the unlabeled field beneath this field.

Rev

Enter, use the LookUp pushbutton or the Lookup Prov Part pushbutton to select, the component part revision from which you want to copy assembly parts. This field is optional. The component part revision must be a valid one from the Maintain EBOM screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.

As-of

Enter the as-of effective date of the EBOM for which you want to pull assemblies. This field is optional. Only assemblies in effect as of this date will be copied.

Configuration

Enter, or use the LookUp pushbutton to select, the EBOM configuration for which you want to pull assemblies. This is an optional field, and will display only if you have selected the Use Configuration IDs checkbox in the BOM Corporate Settings subtask of the BOM Settings screen. Only those assemblies in effect for this configuration will be copied.

LookUp

Select this pushbutton to look up data for a selected field.

LookUp Prov Part

Select this pushbutton to lookup a provisional part ID or revision whose EBOM assembly is being copied.
