Use this screen to copy an existing project budget, or range of project budgets, and clone all or various parts (subtasks) of a project budget, or group of budgets, depending on the method chosen. The most common use for this mass add feature is to create a workplan budget from an existing project budget (baseline) or group of project baseline budgets. You can also take an existing workplan budget for a project or group of workplan project budgets and create a new workplan budget(s).
Use this screen after setting up projects.
Enter, or use to select, a project budget/template to initiate an inquiry. You must enter or select a valid project budget. This field is required. When you enter a number in this field, the unnamed field below displays the project name.
Select this option to use a baseline budget for the new project budget.
Select this option to use a workplan budget for the new project budget.
If you selected the Baseline option, this field will default to INITIAL and cannot be changed.
If you selected the Workplan option, enter, or use to select, the revision for this project total budget.
Use the fields in this group box to enter the range of budgets that you would like to create.
Enter, or use to select, the project that will be the starting point for the mass add.
Enter, or use to select, the project that will be the ending point for the mass add.
Select this option to use a baseline budget.
Select this option to use a workplan budget.
This non-editable field displays the number of project budgets created.
If you selected the Baseline option, this field will default to INITIAL and cannot be changed.
If you selected the Workplan option, enter, or use to select, the revision for this project total budget.
Select check boxes in this group box to include the Direct, Labor, Unit, or Fee subtasks (in the Maintain Project Budgets and ETC screen (Projects » Advanced Project Budgeting » Project Budget and ETC Master)) when creating new project budgets. Note that the setup in the Project Budget Information subtask of the Maintain Project Budgets and ETC screen will always be copied. Multipliers and burden templates will also be copied.
Select this check box to copy the Direct subtask data from the Maintain Project Budgets and ETC screen (Projects » Advanced Project Budgeting » Project Budget and ETC Master). Note that when you create a new project budget from an existing project budget, only total budget data are copied.
Select this check box to copy the Labor subtask data from the Maintain Project Budgets and ETC screen (Projects » Advanced Project Budgeting » Project Budget and ETC Master). Note that when you create a new project budget from an existing project budget, only total budget data are copied.
Select this check box to copy the Unit subtask data from the Maintain Project Budgets and ETC screen (Projects » Advanced Project Budgeting » Project Budget and ETC Master). Note that when you create a new project budget from an existing project budget, only total budget data are copied.
Select this check box to copy the Fee subtask data from the Maintain Project Budgets and ETC screen (Projects » Advanced Project Budgeting » Project Budget and ETC Master). Note that when you create a new project budget from an existing project budget, only total budget data are copied.
Click the Fill Table button to populate this table window. Columns in this table window contain expanded data from the fields above.

This non-editable field displays the budget revision ID of the template project.
This column displays the project ID of the budget to be created by this process. This field can be changed.

Click this button to fill the table window with the project budgets that will be created by this process.
Click this icon on the toolbar to recalculate your budget based on the new template in the table window.
