Use this display-only subtask to view the documents that are related to the component part. You can establish and maintain the information that displays in this subtask in the Maintain Documents screen in both Costpoint Product Definition and Bills of Material, or the Maintain Parts screen (for standard parts) or Maintain Provisional Parts (for provisional parts) in Costpoint Product Definition.
This field displays the part ID from the main screen, along with the part description.
This field displays the revision level, if applicable, of the selected part.
This field displays the unit of measure assigned to this part from the main screen.
This field displays the type of document assigned in the Maintain Documents screen. You can set up Document Types in both Costpoint Product Definition and Bills of Material.
This field displays the document name to which this part will be linked. You can set up Documents in the Maintain Documents screen in both Costpoint Product Definition and Bills of Material.
This field displays the revision of the document to which this part will be linked.
This field displays the name of the document.
This field displays the release status of the document.
This field displays the document size code. You can establish and maintain document size codes in both Costpoint Product Definition and Bills of Material.
This field displays the document media code. You can establish and maintain document media codes in both Costpoint Product Definition and Bills of Material.
This field displays the CAGE ID associated with this document.
This field displays the number of pages of the document.
This field displays the organization that is assigned to the part document.
This field displays the Maintenance Group assigned to this document. You establish and maintain maintenance groups in the Document Maintenance Groups screen.
This non-editable field displays the location of the document, as defined in the Location subtask of the Maintain Documents screen. You can also access the Documents menu in Costpoint Product Definition. When you enter a Document Type code in the Maintain Documents screen, the default location for that type code (i.e., where the document is stored) is loaded into the Location column. If you change the location of the document, you can update this field in the Maintain Documents screen. Select the Launch pushbutton to access the document.
This field displays the date when the document will become effective for the part.
This field displays the date when the document will stop being effective for the part.
This field displays the configuration of the part.
This field displays "Y" (Yes) if this document is to be referenced for this part on purchase orders, requisitions, and request for quotes and "N" (No) if not.
This field displays "Y" (Yes) if this document is to be referenced on receipt travelers for this part and "N" (No) if not.
This field displays "Y" (Yes) if this document is to be referenced on manufacturing order assembly sheets for this part and "N" (No) if not.
This field displays "Y" (Yes) if this document is to be referenced on routing travelers for this part and "N" (No) if not.
This field displays the status of the engineering change notice associated with this part and document.
This field displays the date of the last engineering change notice for this part.
Select this pushbutton to access the document indicated in the selected line item. Make sure the entire directory path is loaded, including full server and volume name and file name in the Location column. We recommend that network drive letters not be used in the Location column unless all potential Costpoint users have this file location mapped to the same drive letter.
For manufacturing BOMs, the information that displays in this screen is stored in the following tables: DOCUMENT, PART_DOCUMENT, MFG_BOM, DOC_TYPE, PART, ORG, and MAINT_GRP.
For engineering BOMs, the information that displays in this screen is stored in the following tables: DOCUMENT, PART_DOCUMENT, ENG_BOM, DOC_TYPE, PART, PROV_PART, ORG, and MAINT_GRP.
