Use this subtask to view information about the selected assembly part. The information displayed in this subtask is established and maintained in the Maintain MBOM, Release MBOM, Maintain EBOM, or Release EBOM screens.
The fields in this group box provide basic information about the assembly, including BOM status and part status.
This field displays the assembly or parent part of the BOM. A description of the part displays in the untitled field below this field.
This field displays the revision of the assembly or parent part of the BOM.
This field displays the inventory unit of measure for the assembly.
This field displays the Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code for the assembly part.
This field indicates whether the assembly part is active ("Y") or inactive ("N").
This field displays the "M" (Make)/"B" (Buy) status of the assembly.
This field displays the estimated yield (%) of a manufacturing order for this parent for planning purposes.
This field displays the assembly part type code from Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition: "B" (Buy with Components), "S" (Standard), "P" (Phantom), "R" (Reference), and "T" (Tool).
This field displays the release status of the assembly part. This field displays "Provisional" for provisional parts.
This field displays the release status of the BOM for the assembly part.
This field, based on the configuration identifiers entered in the main screen, displays the effectivity date used to control which components are displayed.
This field, based on the configuration identifiers entered in the main screen, displays the configuration ID used to restrict the displayed components.
This text box displays free-form notes about the BOM of the assembly. You can enter and maintain notes in the Assembly Information subtasks in the Maintain MBOM and Release MBOM screens.
This field displays the ID of the user who first entered the assembly into the system.
This field displays the date the assembly was first entered into the system.
This field displays the ID of the user who released the assembly into the system.
This field displays the date the assembly was released into the system.
This field displays the starting serial numbers of the valid configurations that meet the as-of date and configuration ID criteria for the assembly part. This value is based on information entered in the Maintain End Item Configurations screen.
This field contains the ending serial numbers of the valid configurations that meet the as-of date and configuration ID criteria for the assembly part. This value is based on information entered in the Maintain End Item Configurations screen.
For manufacturing BOMs, the information that displays in this screen is stored in the following tables: MFG_BOM, ITEM, ITEM_UM, PART, S_PART_TYPE_CD, and END_PART_CONFIG.
For engineering BOMs, the information that displays in this screen is stored in the following tables: ENG_BOM, ITEM, ITEM_UM, PART, PROV_PART, S_PART_TYPE_CD, and END_PART_CONFIG.
