WORK CENTER MAINTENANCE

Use this subtask to specify the type of maintenance and the maintenance schedule for this particular work center.

Note: This subtask will not be available unless you have installed Costpoint Routings.

Establish this subtask when creating the work center and maintain it whenever you need to change maintenance schedules.

Work Center ID

This field displays the work center ID for which you are entering maintenance. The work center ID description from the main screen displays in the adjacent field.

Active

This field displays a "Y" (Yes) if the work center is active, an "N" (No) if it is not.

Organization

The organization ID selected for the work center is displayed in this field. The organization description from the main screen displays in the adjacent field.

Process Type

This field displays the process type selected for this work center.

Work Center Type

This field displays the work center type selected for this work center.

Table Window

Maintenance Type

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the type of maintenance that is to be performed at the work center. Maintenance types available for selection are established in the Maintenance Types screen in Costpoint Routings.

Maintenance Class

This field displays the maintenance class type ("R" (Repair), "P" (Preventive), and "C" (Calibration)).

Description

The description for the selected maintenance type displays in this field.

Frequency (Days)

Enter the frequency, in days, that this maintenance should be performed on the work center. A default number, which you can override, displays if one was originally set up for this maintenance type.

Frequency (Units)

Enter the frequency, in units, that this maintenance should be performed for this particular work center. A default number, which you can override, displays if one was originally set up for this maintenance type.

Hours Required

Enter the number of hours required to perform this maintenance on the work center. A default number, which you can override, displays if one was originally set up for this maintenance type.

Last Performed Date

Enter the date the maintenance was last performed. The system automatically calculates the next maintenance due date by adding the number in the Frequency (Days) field to the date in the Last Performed Date field.

Last Performed Units

Enter the number of units expended (i.e., operation hours) when the maintenance was last performed. The system automatically calculates the frequency of maintenance, based on units, by adding the Last Performed Units field to the Frequency (Units) field.

Notes

Enter any additional notes about this work center maintenance. Default notes display if they were originally set up for this maintenance type; you can override default notes.

Next Maint Due (Date)

Enter the next date this maintenance type should be performed on the work center. A default date displays if this maintenance type was initially set up with a maintenance frequency in days and you have entered a date in the Last Performed Date field. The default is calculated by adding the number in the Frequency (Days) field to the date in the Last Performed Date field.

Next Maint Due (Units)

Enter the number of units that should be expended before this maintenance type is performed next on the work center. A default displays if you initially set up this maintenance type with a maintenance frequency in units and you have entered a figure in the Last Performed Units field. The default is calculated by adding the Frequency (Units) field to the Last Performed Units field.
