WORK CENTER LABOR CLASSIFICATION

Use this subtask to classify different labor categories and skill sets used within a particular work center.

Note: This subtask will not be available unless you have installed Costpoint Routings.

Establish this subtask when creating the work center and maintain it whenever you need to change the labor classifications.

Work Center ID

This field displays the work center ID for which you are entering labor data. The work center ID description from the main screen displays in the adjacent field.

Active

This field displays a "Y" if the work center is active, an "N" if it is not.

Organization

This field displays the organization ID and name selected for the work center. The organization name displays in the adjacent field.

Process Type

This field displays the process type associated with the work center.

Work Center Type

The work center type associated with the work center is displayed in this field.

Crew Size

The number of employees at the work center is displayed in this field.

Table Window

Labor Classification

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ID of the labor classification available in the work center. Labor Classifications are established in Costpoint Routings.

Classification Description

This field displays the labor description, based on the selected labor classification.

Available Quantity

Enter the number of employees that possess this particular labor classification in the work center. The initial default is one employee and this field must be greater than zero.

Skill

This field displays the skill code initially assigned to the selected labor classification.

Skill Description

This field displays a description of the select skill code.

GLC

This field displays the general labor category code initially assigned to this particular labor classification.

GLC Description

The general labor category description, based on the general labor category code selected, is displayed in this field.
