Use this subtask to view information about the selected assembly part.
This group box provides basic information about the assembly, including MBOM status and part status.
This field displays the assembly or parent part for which the MBOM was created. A description of the part is displayed in the untitled field below.
This field displays the revision of the assembly or parent part for which the MBOM was created.
This field displays the inventory unit of measure for the assembly.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the Commercial and Government Entity code (CAGE ID) for the assembly part in this optional field of up to five alphanumeric characters. CAGE IDs are assigned to manufacturers in the Manufacturers screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
This field indicates whether or not the assembly part is active.
This field displays the assembly part type code from the Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition: "B" (Buy w/Comp), "S" (Standard), "P" (Phantom), "R" (Reference), and "T" (Tool).
This field displays the release status of the assembly part.
This field displays the release status of the MBOM for the assembly part.
This field, based on the configuration identifiers entered in the main screen, displays the effectivity date that is being used to control which components are displayed.
This field displays the configuration ID, based on the configuration identifiers entered in the main screen, used to restrict the displayed components.
This field displays the starting serial numbers of the valid configurations that meet the as-of date and configuration ID criteria for the assembly part. This value is based on information entered in the Maintain End Item Configurations screen.
This field displays the ending serial numbers of the valid configurations that meet the as-of date and configuration ID criteria for the assembly part. This value is based on information entered in the Maintain End Item Configurations screen.
Enter the estimated yield (%) of a manufacturing order for this parent for planning purposes. The default for this required numeric field is 100.00%, but can be changed to any value between "0.00" and "999.99."
Enter the default number of days by which the assembly lead time can be reduced for component picking. The default number for this required field is "0," but you can change this to any value up to "9999."
Enter free-form text notes about the MBOM of the assembly.
The information in this screen is stored in the MFG_BOM table. Information is also stored in and/or pulled from the ITEM, PART, ITEM_UM, S_PART_TYPE_CD, END_PART_CONFIG, and BOM_CONFIG tables.
