Use this subtask to view an invoice summary, and information on the posting of the bill. You cannot edit this subtask if the Allow User to Edit Bills check box is cleared in the Project Billing Info screen (Projects » Billing » Billing Master or Projects » Project Setup » Revenue Setup). You can change only the header of the actual bill; "backup-only" bills (bills that provide billing detail at a lower level than the level at which the bill is printed/posted) cannot be changed.
This non-editable field defaults from the Edit Standard Bills screen (Projects » Billing » Edit Billings). The non-editable field below displays the description of the invoice project.
This non-editable field displays the purpose of the bill: Actual or Backup-Only. Backup-Only bills provide supporting detail for the Actual bill.
This field displays the project-specific bill number assigned to this bill. If the Enable Project Specific Bill Numbering check box is selected in the Billing Settings screen (Projects » Billing » Controls), each project will have its own bill number sequencing. You initialize this bill number in the Project Billing Info screen, and it will be incremented each time you post a bill. Note that this bill number is used in addition to the company-wide invoice number. It does not replace the company-wide invoice number.
This non-editable field defaults from the Edit Standard Bills screen (Projects » Billing » Edit Billings). The non-editable field below displays the description of the customer.
Use the drop-down list to select the terms that should be printed on the bill. You must have already established selections in the Customer Terms screen (Accounting » Accounts Receivable » Customer Controls). The default will be the terms that were specified for this customer in the Maintain Customer screen (Accounting » Accounts Receivable » Customer Info).
This non-editable field displays the number of the bill posting sequence. It will record the bill posting routine number for the unique fiscal year, period, and subperiod. Normally this field is blank. If you see a number here, this means another Costpoint user is currently posting the bill.
This group box displays receivable account information that will be used when the bill is posted. These fields can be edited.
This field displays the receivable account to which the bill will be posted. The default is the account with the function code of Billed A/R within this project's project account group.

This is the organization to which the bill will be posted. The default is the Owning Org of the project. is available if you need to select a different organization.
If you are using reference numbers for data entry, enter, or use to select, a valid reference number 1.
If you are using reference numbers for data entry, enter, or use to select, a valid reference number 2.
Enter the text you want printed in the heading of this bill. Up to 254 characters can be entered. You can set up a default bill heading in the Other Info subtask of the Project Billing Info screen (Projects » Billing » Billing Master or Projects » Project Setup » Revenue Setup).
If this check box is selected, this indicates that the bill has been included in a WAWF file. Although you can edit this check box, you should exercise caution when doing so because it may cause the file to be included in more than one WAWF file.
If you recalculate the bill after including it in a WAWF file, the system will clear this check box.
If the bill has been included in a WAWF file, this group box will display the output path used when the file was created. This group box will be enabled only if the Included in WAWF File check box is selected. This group box is editable.
Click this button to select an output path. You can also enter the file path in the blank field to the right.
