Use this subtask to maintain notes about a specific invoice.
Each comment about an invoice is sorted by a date that you enter next to the comment. You can print these comments on various reports.
This field displays the invoice number that was selected on the main screen.
This field displays the due date for this invoice.
This field displays the current balance due since the last time the billings or cash receipts were posted. If you want to see the detail of the postings, use the Invoice Detail subtask.
These fields display the customer account and name from the main screen.
This field displays the finance charge that was calculated for this invoice.
This non-editable field displays the project number to which this invoice relates. It can be blank, if the invoice did not relate to a specific project number.
The bill number is displayed in this field.
This field displays the charges received from the main screen.
This field displays the sales order number from the main screen. This field will populate if an invoice is created because of a sales order.
This field displays the customer PO number from the main screen. This field will populate if your company enters a customer PO number on its billing.
This field displays the net amount due. The system calculates this value by adding the Invoice Balance Due to the Finance Charges Computed and subtracting any Charges Received.
Enter the reference date for this comment. Be aware that only the latest date will print out on the A/R Aging Reports.
Enter the date the cash receipt is expected, i.e., when you expect to receive payment of the invoice.
Enter a short note that describes the conversation with the customer.
