Use this screen like a notepad as a reminder of cash obligations that have not yet been recognized (entered and posted) in the Costpoint system. Entries made in this screen will display only in the Cash Requirements Report and only when you have selected the Supplemental Amounts checkbox in the Cash Requirements Report screen. These entries will not display as a liability in Costpoint General Ledger or Costpoint Accounts Payable until entered as a voucher. These entries will stay in the Cash Requirements Report Supplemental Amounts screen until you delete or modify them.
If you are using Costpoint Multicurrency, this screen will help you manage your cash when multiple currencies are involved. You can use this screen to include multiple transaction and pay currencies on your Cash Requirements Report and to evaluate anticipated obligations occurring in foreign currencies. Because all rows entered here are simulated expenses, you can experiment with currency rate scenarios without incurring any actual gains or losses on these proposed A/P transactions.
Modify this screen at any time. For the most accurate information available, leave this screen unchanged while printing or previewing the Cash Requirements Report.
Enter a six-digit alphanumeric abbreviation for this schedule. Although you can create multiple schedules, you can print only one schedule on the Cash Requirements Report at any given time.
Enter a detailed description of the schedule abbreviation.
This field will display your functional currency code. The blank field to the right displays the currency code description. The functional currency was determined at the time of Costpoint initialization in the Maintain Currencies screen in Costpoint Multicurrency. Enter, or use Lookup to select, the code for the currency you will be using most often on this schedule. You can use any currency in this field; however, the currency you select will default into the Tran Curr and the Pay Curr columns in the table window. You can override these defaults in the Exchange Rates subtask.
You can change this field any time after completing a row in the table window and the new currency will be used as the default for any new rows added.
Use the New Line button on the toolbar to begin data entry.
Enter a due date for the supplemental item. This date is referenced for the Voucher Date Cutoff group box in the Cash Requirements Report screen. When you set the Cash Requirements Report voucher date cutoff to Anticipated Pay Date, Due Date, or Discount Date, each item in this table that matches, or is earlier than, the selected date will be added to the Cash Requirements Report.
