TEMPLATE.MPP

This screen is a standard MS Project opening screen; however, Costpoint has been added as an option on the menu bar. Use this screen to organize and track Costpoint projects within MS Project.

Costpoint

Select this item on the menu bar to set up and update Costpoint projects in MS Project.

• Setup Project - Select this option from the Costpoint menu to set up Costpoint projects for use in MS Project. If you select this option, the Database Wizard feature will begin.

• Update Project - Select this option from the Costpoint menu to update the Microsoft Project screen with Costpoint projects selected using the "Setup Project" option.

Note: Template.mpp contains a macro to connect to the interface programs and should be preserved as a template. You can preserve it either by copying Template.mpp to another file and using the new file or by using "Save As" to save the contents to another file and using the new file.
