DATABASE WIZARD - PROJECT SELECTION

Use this screen to select the Costpoint project that you want to associate with your MS Project file. You can also specify the burden type that you want to associate with this project.

This is the third of seven screens that you must use to set up Costpoint data for use in MS Project.

Costpoint Project Name

Enter, or use the Search pushbutton to select, the name of the Costpoint project that you want to associate with the MS Project file.

Search

Select this pushbutton to view a list of valid Costpoint projects to associate with the MS Project file.

Burden Type

Use this group box to specify the burden type that you want to associate with this project.

Target

Select this radio button to specify Target burden as the type that you want to associate with this project.

Actual

Select this radio button to specify Actual burden as the type that you want to associate with this project.

None

Select this radio button to indicate that no burden should be associated with this project. This radio button is selected by default.

Next

Select this pushbutton to move to the next screen in this setup sequence.

Note:  You can manually select any level of a project structure, and all of the lower level projects will be included in the processing. The Search list includes only projects with cost/hours charged to them (summary task/project does not appear).
