MAINTAIN PROJECT LEVEL MAPPING

Use this screen to create Project Level Mapping information. This application builds records that are used by the integration process to assign Costpoint project ID segments to CRM/GovWin WBS levels for any table where a project ID is used. You need to use this screen only if you have chosen to use the project mapping option (instead of assigning the entire project structure to WBS1).

The mapping is defined by top-level project ID and is based on the Costpoint project structure. You can define a default mapping project or projects if you use standard project structures in Costpoint.

Use this screen to create project-mapping definitions before running the Configure Project Options function (Others » Product Interfaces » CRM/GovWin/RP Integration) and before defining interface instances in the Interface Configuration & Scheduler screen (Others » Product Interfaces » Interface Controls).

Project Levels

Use this group box to define the number of levels of the Costpoint project to be transferred to CRM/GovWin and how those levels will be mapped to the WBS1, WBS2, and WBS3 structures. Note that you can combine multiple levels of the Costpoint project ID into each of the WBS fields up to the maximum length of the WBS level (30 characters for WBS1 and 7 characters each for WBS2 and WBS3).  You must map the levels in contiguous order.

Level

This field displays the Costpoint project level currently being mapped. This value is auto-numbered as new lines are created up to the maximum number of levels for the project ID selected.

Length

This field displays the length of the level being mapped.

Level Description

This field displays the description of the level being mapped.

WBS

Enter a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) number of 1, 2, or 3.
