MAINTAIN CHART OF ACCOUNTS

Use this application to build the chart of accounts table (X_RP_CA) to be used for Resource Planning and for mapping Costpoint accounts to Resource Planning accounts on transactions.

Use this screen to create Resource Planning accounts before using the Maintain Account Mapping function and before setting up any interface instances in the Interface Configuration and Scheduler application.

Account Number

Enter the desired account number, using any alphanumeric characters. If you are using delimiters, enter a dash (-), an underscore (_), or a period (.).

Status

Select the account status from the drop-down box. Valid values are "Active," "Inactive," or "Dormant."

Name

Enter a name for this account.

Detail

Select one of the following options to determine how account detail will display on the General Ledger, Account Analysis report in Deltek Resource Planning. Options are "No Detail," "Show Detail," or "Summarized by Date."

Table Information

This application creates the X_RP_CA table for use in account mapping.

An Account Number can contain only 0..9 or A..Z or  - (dash) or _ (underscore) or  . (period).

Error. The Account Number contains a character that is not 0-9, A-Z, "-" (dash), "_" (underscore) or "." (period).

Avoid entering characters other than those specified.
