COST AND REVENUE OPTIONS

Use this subtask to specify timesheet date range selection criteria for labor costs, and/or to specify accounting period range selection criteria for non-labor costs and revenue.

Timesheet Date

Use this group box to further refine the selection of labor cost data by timesheet date.

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select the timesheet date range for the current parameter record. Options are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All."

From, To

Enter the starting (in the From field) and ending (in the To field) timesheet dates for the current parameter record.

Select Period

Use this group box to further refine the selection of revenue and non-labor cost data by accounting period.

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select the accounting period range for the current parameter record. Options are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All."

From, To

Enter the starting (in the From field) and ending (in the To field) fiscal year and period for the current parameter record. The End Date will display based on the Fiscal Year and Period you enter.

Table Information

Labor costs are extracted from the TS_HDR_HS and TS_LN_HS (Timesheet History) tables.  Non-labor costs and revenue come from the GL_POST_SUM and GL_DETL (General Ledger) tables.  If you are using project mapping, the process will use the X_PROJ_LVL_MAP table to transform projects. If you are using account mapping, the process will use the X_ACCT_MAP table to transform accounts. If you are using the Reorg option, the process will use the REORG_ORG_LINK table to transform organizations. Configuration parameter records are stored in the X_OBJ_SUPP table.

Error. You are not licensed for Deltek RP Integration (RS).

Contact your Costpoint System Administrator.

This parameter definition is assigned to an interface. Please remove this assignment before attempting to delete this definition.

Error. You cannot delete an object parameter if it is used within an object instance definition.

Disassociate the parameter ID from the Object instance.

This is an invalid top-level reorganization ID.

Error. The Reorg ID does not exist in the Reorg Structure table (REORG_STRUC) at the top-level (must be LVL_NO = "1").

Use Lookup to select a valid value.

This is an invalid Project ID.

Error. Project Range Option is "One," and the entered project ID is not valid.

Use Lookup to select a valid project ID.

This is not a top-level reorganization ID.

Error. You selected the Use Reorganization checkbox and the Reorg ID exists in the Reorg Structure table (REORG_STRUC.REORG_ID), but this ID is not the top-level (REORG_ STRUC.LVL_NO is greater than "1").

Use Lookup to select a valid value.

The number of levels defined within this reorganization exceeds the maximum of 5.

Error: The reorganization ID selected has more than five levels defined (or more than six levels if you selected the Exclude Top Level checkbox) and cannot be used. 

Use Lookup to select a valid value. Deltek CRM/GovWin/RP only allows a five-level org structure, so you must select a Reorg ID that does not exceed that maximum.

Either Labor Categories and or Labor Codes must be selected.

Error. The Labor Categories and Labor Codes checkboxes are unchecked and the Labor Costs checkbox is checked.

Select either Labor Categories and/or Labor Codes.

A fill character is required when processing labor codes.

Error. The Labor Codes checkbox is selected but the Fill Character is null.

Enter a valid Fill Character.

The fill character must be 0..9 or A..Z or  - (dash) or _ (underscore) or  . (period).

Error. The Labor Codes checkbox is selected and the Fill Character is not 0 - 9, A - Z, "-," "_", or ".", and the Labor Cost checkbox is selected.

Enter a value within the range.

A top-level reorganization ID must be entered.

Error. The Use Reorganization checkbox is checked, and Reorg is blank.

Either uncheck Use Reorganization or enter a value for Reorg.

A default top-level Project ID must be entered.

Error. The Use Project Level Mapping and Use Default Project checkboxes are selected, but the Default Project ID is null.

Either uncheck Use Project Level Mapping or uncheck Use Default Project or enter a valid Default Project ID.

No project level mapping exists for this project.

Error. The Default Project ID is not in the Project Level Mapping table (X_PROJ_LVL_MAP).

Use Lookup to get a valid value.

The project status of this project is inactive and you have not requested inactive projects.

Error. The project Range Option is "One," the entered project's status in Costpoint is not Active, and only the Active Projects checkbox is selected.

Select a project ID with active status or uncheck Active Projects and select Inactive Projects.

The project status of this project is active and you have not requested active projects.

Error. The project Range Option is "One," the entered project's status in Costpoint is Active, and only Inactive Projects is selected.

Select a project ID with inactive status or select Active Projects and unselect Inactive Projects.
