EMPLOYEE BASIC PREPROCESSOR SETUP

You can use the Employee Basic Preprocessor Setup screen to specify differing values for fields prior to importing employee data from an ASCII file. For example, you can use the Employee Basic Preprocessor Setup screen to enable import of multiple Employee Effective Dates.

The Employee Basic Preprocessor Setup screen consists of three major sections: the Record drop-down list, the Fields table window and the Selected Fields table window.

This is a separately licensed product for the current release of Deltek Costpoint. An Ongoing Support Plan (OSP) is available for routine maintenance and upgrades to this interface. Customization is priced separately.

Record

Record Number

Enter a layout file record number (1-5).

Record Description

Displays the Record description.

Fields

Field Description

This column displays each field that can be added to the file layout. Highlight the fields that you want to add to the file layout and then click the Select button.

Field No

This column displays the incremental position of the field in the layout file.

Selected Fields

Field Description

This column displays the fields available to be added to the layout file.

Field No

This column displays the incremental position of the field in the layout file.

Select

Once you have highlighted rows in the Fields table window, click this button to move the highlighted rows from the Fields table window to the Selected Fields table window.

Deselect

Click this button to move the highlighted rows back from the Selected Fields table window to the Fields table window.
