Use this subtask view and change annual medical and dependent care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) elections made in the Life Events/New Hires module in ESS. You can also assign FSA information to employees in the Employee Dependent Care FSA Elections and Employee Medical Care FSA Elections screens in Costpoint Employee (Costpoint Benefits in Costpoint 4.0).
This non-editable field displays the FSA year in which the Medical FSA election becomes effective for this employee. The value in this field defaults from the Current FSA Year field in the ESS Company Settings screen.
This editable field displays the date on which the Medical FSA election becomes effective for this employee. The value in this field defaults from the Life Event Date associated with the benefit election.
This field displays the annual Medical FSA amount for this employee, but can be changed. This amount cannot be greater than the Maximum Amount in the Medical Care FSA Setup screen in Costpoint Benefits.
Select this checkbox indicate that the Medical FSA Election has been confirmed in the system by the ESS Administrator in this screen or by the employee in ESS. You can edit the status of this checkbox.
