ACCOUNT DISTRIBUTION

Use this subtask to distribute this requisition line charge to single or multiple project/account/organization combinations. This is a required subtask for all requisition lines.

If you entered project, account, organization and abbreviation information in the Header/Defaults subtask and elected to have the information default for all requisition lines, this information will default into this subtask.

Use this subtask whenever you add a requisition line to the requisition, and maintain it when you need to change that requisition line account allocation.

Requisition, Rev

These non-editable fields default from the main screen.

Line, Line Rev

These fields display the requisition line and revision for which you are entering account data.

Req Line Ext Amt

This non-editable field defaults from the requisition line. It represents the Qty multiplied by the Est Unit Cost for this line item.

Sales Tax/VAT Amt

This non-editable field defaults from Est Sales Tax/VAT Amt in the requisition line. It represents the applicable sales tax/value added tax against this item.

Unallocated Amt

This non-editable field defaults from the requisition line. It represents the requisition line total amount that has not been allocated to an account in the table below.

Line Charge Amt

This non-editable field defaults from the Est Line Charges in the requisition line. It represents any additional miscellaneous charges against this line item.

Req Line Total Amt

This non-editable field displays the total charge for this line item, including additional charges and sales tax, from Total Est Cost Amt in the requisition line.

Inventory Abbrev

This non-editable field defaults from the requisition line.

Requisitioner Org

This field displays the organization of the requisitioner who created the requisition.

Trans Currency

This field displays the transaction currency assigned to the requisition.

Table Window

If you entered project, account, organization, and abbreviation information in the Header/Defaults subtask and elected to have the information default for all requisition lines, this information will default into this table window but can be changed. The project/account/org combination must exist in the Maintain Valid Project/Account/Orgs screen in the Project Master menu in Costpoint Project Setup, and the account/org information must be assigned to the buyer in the Buyers screen.

Account

This column displays the account ID assigned in the Header/Defaults subtask and can be changed. To change this account ID, enter, or use Lookup to select, the account ID that should receive charges for this line item. The system will validate that the account ID selected is active, is not a summary account, and that the account allows charging for the fiscal year, period, and subperiod on this requisition. This is a required field. Lookup displays accounts entered in the Maintain Accounts screen in Costpoint General Ledger. If the requisition line is a miscellaneous line charge and no account, organization or inventory abbreviation exists, the Misc Type code's account will default (from the PO Line Charge Types screen in Costpoint Purchasing), depending on whether or not a project exists.

Project

This column displays the project ID assigned in the Header/Defaults subtask and can be changed. To change this project ID, enter, or use Lookup to select, the project ID that should receive charges for this line item. The system will validate that the project ID selected is active. Set up Project IDs in the Maintain Project Master screen in Costpoint Project Setup.

Organization

This column displays the organization ID assigned in the Header/Defaults subtask and can be changed. To change this organization ID, enter, or use Lookup to select, the organization ID that should receive charges for this line item. The system will validate that the organization ID that you selected is active, and that the account/organization combination allows charging for the fiscal year, period, and subperiod on this requisition. This is a required field. Lookup displays organizations entered in the Organizations menu in Costpoint General Ledger.

Project Name

The name associated with the selected Project ID displays in this column.

Account Name

The name associated with the selected Account ID displays in this column.

Organization Name

The name associated with the selected Organization displays in this column.

Allocation

Enter the percentage amount of this line item to be charged to the selected project/account/ organization. The default value for the first line is 100%. You can delete this default percentage and enter a dollar amount in the Amount field.

Amount

If you have not entered an Allocation percentage, you can specify the dollar amount of this line item to be charged to the selected project/account/organization.

Proj Abbrev

Enter, or use Lookup to select, a project abbreviation. If you have selected a Project, the project abbreviation will display.

Proj Acct Abbrev

Enter, or use Lookup to select, a project account abbreviation. If you have selected a Proj Abbrev, the project account abbreviation will be displayed.

Org Abbrev

This field displays the organization abbreviation if you have selected an Organization.

Ref 1

This field displays the reference number 1 value assigned in the Header/Defaults subtask and can be changed. To change this value, enter, or use Lookup to select, a reference number 1 value for this line item.

Ref 2

This field displays the reference number 2 value assigned in the Header/Defaults subtask and can be changed. To change this value, enter, or use Lookup to select, a reference number 2 value for this line item.
