New Features and Enhancements
This section describes the new features and enhancements included in this release.
Show Cost Code Names on Time Entry Views
Cost Code Names can now be shown in time entry listings. If the option to show Cost Code Names is toggled, they are shown in the following sections:
- Time Entry View > Time Entry Listing
- My Employees > Employee Time Listing View
- Sign > Job Tab View
- Approvals > Employee Time Listing View

Visually Indicate Changed Data When Toggling to View All Hours
On the Approvals > By Employee view, all cells that have hours changed are displayed in bold when View All Hours is toggled.

Field Logs
The following enhancements related to Field Logs were made:
- The Field Log feature is under the Project Management menu. This is accessible based on the user’s role permissions.
- The default tab is All Logs. This tab allows you to view all logs from the last 30 days for all Field Log Types and jobs you that have access to. These can be filtered by Job, Date, Status, Created By, and “Only Mine”.
- You can see all field logs available to them in the tabs along the top. These tabs will list all field logs for that field log type and jobs that you have access to.
- You can create a field log by clicking the plus button under any tab except All Logs. You will be prompted for Date and Job.
- A field log per user, per job, per day for each field log type can be created. If the user, type, date and job combination already exists, an option to open the Field Log for the job is displayed.
- Field Logs can be configured to have any or all of the following sections:
- Weather – Weather records are automatically populated using available weather data for jobs with a geolocation set. Records can also be added manually for jobs that don’t have a geolocation set or if a specific time of day is needed
- When adding a record manually, you can use the Get Weather option to pull the information from available weather data based on the job geolocation
- You can edit or delete any of the automatically added records
- Attachments – Photos or files can be added to field logs using the attachments icon. Thumbnails of each attached file or photo can be viewed by clicking the thumbnail of an image file opens a preview of that image while clicking the thumbnail of a non- image file downloads a copy of that file.
- Employees – Employee records that exist for the job and date are automatically pulled in if the Automatically Import Employee Records option is set to Yes. If the Automatically Import Employee Records option is set to No, records can be pulled in by clicking the Refresh button. They can also be manually added if they haven’t been automatically pulled in.
- Equipment – Equipment records that exist for the job and date are automatically pulled in if the Automatically Import Equipment Records option is set to Yes. If the Automatically Import Equipment Records option is set to No, records can be pulled in by clicking the Refresh button. They can also be manually added if they haven’t been automatically pulled in.
- Material – Material records can be manually added to this section.
- Productivity – Productivity records can be manually added to this section.
- Subcontractors – Subcontractor records can be manually added to this section.
- Visitors – Visitor records can be manually added to this section.
- Additional Information – This section contains customized fields that are not added to other sections.
- You can edit or delete a field log that you have created that is still in open status. Field Logs that cannot be edited or deleted are those that are already submitted or created by other users and are for viewing only.
- You can duplicate field logs. When duplicating a field log, you are prompted for a date, which defaults to the current date. All data from all sections of the field log are retained except for the following:
- Weather "auto" records and call the API to gather new weather data based on the entered date and job
- Employee "auto" records and pull any employee data available based on the entered date and job
- Equipment "auto" records and pull any equipment data available based on the entered date and job
- Attachments
- User Defined Field values
- Notes
- Signatures

Field Log User Defined Fields
User Defined Fields can be viewed and edited from ComputerEase Field.
The Additional Information section contains all the available user defined fields. If there are no user defined fields, this section is not shown. If a user defined field is configured to be in a section other than Additional Information, it is placed in the corresponding section.
The configuration of the user defined fields set in ComputerEase are followed. This includes the order that the fields are displayed, data type, length, and whether they are required fields.

Field Log User Experience Optimized for the Mobile App
The following enhancements have been made:
- Users with permissions can view Field Logs for jobs they have access to. The list of Field Logs shows Status, Job Name, Job Number, Date, Field Log Type, and Created By. Field Logs can be opened by tapping the corresponding Field Log on the list.
- You can navigate through the sections of the Field Log using the left and right arrows or using the section quick access menu.
- You can sort and filter Field Logs. Field Logs can be sorted by Date, Job Number, Job Name, and Created By. They can be filtered by Job, Date, Status, Created By, and “Only Mine”.
- You can create Field Logs. When creating a Field Log, you are prompted to enter the Date and Job.
- All records added are automatically saved.
- You can edit Field Logs that they have created and are still in open status. You can also tap the Submit button once you are ready to make the field log available to ComputerEase.
- You can delete Field Logs that they have created and are still in open status. Swipe on a Field Log to delete it.

Allow Users to Edit and Delete Rejected Time Entries
Rejected time entries now have the same options as pending time entries.
- You can now edit, duplicate, and delete rejected time entries on the rejected entries listing.
- When a rejected time entry is edited, it is set to pending and is thus no longer displayed on the rejected entries listing after it has been saved.
- You can swipe on a rejected time entry to delete it.

Show Department on the Approvals View
The Department column has been added on the Approvals view to quickly identify if the correct department was entered. This is only shown if there is a value for it. The rows are summarized by Job Code, Pay Type, and Department combination.

Show Totals by Employee on the Approvals View
The Total column has been added on the Approvals view to see the total hours for each employee. The Total column can be viewed in both the Job and Employee views.

Deltek Tracking Number: 2128230Recreating Rejected Expenses Did Not Show Correct Information
When recreating a rejected expense that had a Job, Phase, or Category assigned, the Phase field was removed on the Create screen and the Date defaulted to the current date instead of the original expense date. Also, if Equipment and Code were assigned, a warning displayed that an Equipment Code was required even though one was already entered.
