Set New Password Dialog Box

Use the Set New Password dialog box to replace your temporary password.

When you enter your password in the Cobra Login dialog box, Cobra checks whether the password is temporary. If it is, Cobra displays the following message: "Your password is temporary and is intended for setting up new password only." Click OK to display the Set New Password dialog box.

Field	Description
User ID	This field displays the user ID you entered in the Cobra Login dialog box.
Data Source	This field displays the data source you selected in the Cobra Login dialog box.
New Password	Use this field to enter your new password.
Confirm New Password	Use this field to re-enter your new password. Cobra compares the values in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields to ensure they match. If the passwords match, Cobra accepts the new password and sends a confirmation email to the address associated with your user ID. If the passwords do not match, Cobra displays a message prompting you to re-enter the new password.

Important: Your password must adhere to the established password policies configured using the Password Policies form in PPM Administrator or the Password Policies dialog box in EPM Security Administrator.
