Behavior of the Integration Wizard Preferences Options
Use the Integration Wizard Preferences tab in the Project Properties dialog box to set default preferences for importing data into Cobra using the Integration Wizard.
When a new integration configuration is created, the options defined here will automatically populate in the Wizard but can still be modified by the user.
However, if the Secure checkbox is selected, the corresponding preference becomes locked in the Integration Wizard and cannot be changed. In addition, when an option is secured, any existing configuration settings on the Change Control or Filter page will be overridden by the preferences associated with the selected project in the Integration Wizard. This means that when running a process using an existing configuration, Cobra will apply the Selected value for all secured options, regardless of what was previously saved in the configuration file.
To ensure a specific option is both selected by default and protected from changes by other users, check both the Selected and Secure boxes for that option.
The table below provides more information about securing options on this page. It outlines how the Integration Wizard preferences set at the project level behave, particularly in relation to their corresponding options on the Change Control and Filter pages of the Integration Wizard.
