Formatting

Field Description
Formatting The Formatting options control how date, duration, or numeric data in the column is displayed. If you change the formatting of a column that already contains data, Cobra displays the data in the new format.
The available formatting options depend on the type of field:
  • If the field is a date field, the formatting options include date formats.
  • If the field is a duration, the formatting options include minutes (t), hours (h), days (d), weeks (w), and months (m). Cobra displays any remainder that results from converting a smaller unit into a larger unit as a decimal. For example, a duration of 90 minutes becomes 1.5 when converted into hours. When you click a cell, the duration is displayed in the default format. You can then enter a new duration value in any format that you wish.
Note: In the Edit Column dialog box, you can modify the format only of numeric data.
Decimals Use this field to indicate a level of precision for the display of data.
