Notes Tab of the Application Preferences Dialog Box
Use this tab to create different types of note categories that you can use to enter notes against individual control accounts, work packages, codes, and resources within Analyze.
The note categories you create are used system-wide and are available for all projects. All notes must be assigned to a category.
After you create a note category, you can click the Notes tab on an opened project, resource file, or code file to enter notes against a category on an individual control account, work package, resource, and code within these opened files.

Field | Description |

Note Type |
Use this field to filter the Category grid. Note categories can be created against different file types in Cobra. Select one of the following options from the drop-down list:

Categories |
This grid displays the note category name. |
New |
Click this button to create a new note category. |
Edit |
Select a note category from the Categories grid and click this button to edit the category. |
Delete |
Select a note category from the Categories grid and click this button to delete the category. A message displays, confirming the deletion. Click Yes to delete all notes associated with the category for all projects using project level notes. |
