Report Template Tags

When you create or modify a report template, you use predefined tags.

Use the following types of tags:

  • Section Tags
  • Formula Tags
  • Property Tags
  • Report Options
  • Other Tags
  • Information Tags

Report tags are case-sensitive. For help in using tags, refer to the templates that come with standard Cobra reports.

  • Section Tags
    Section tags define the logical sections (header, footer, and others) in the report. Section tags are placed in the first column of the report template.
  • Formula Tags
    Formulas are entered in the same format as any Excel formula.
  • Information Tags
    Information tags are used to define report information such as date and time the report is generated.

    Use these tags to create or modify a report template.
  • Property Tags
    Property tags indicate a field on a table. These tags are commonly added to a report template to print extra information, such as dates and code assignments.
