Criteria Selection Page of the Update Codes Wizard

Use the Criteria Selection page of the Update Codes wizard to select the criteria for running the Update Codes process.

Field Description
Criteria

Use this field to select the criteria by which to filter the data. You can select any of the following options:

  • Total Project
  • Control Account
  • Control Account Key Fields
  • Control Account Codes 1 - 9
  • CAM
  • Work Package
  • Work Package Key
  • Work Package Codes 1 - 9
  • Resource
  • Resource Assignments
  • Resource Assignment Codes 1 - 9
  • Work Package Manager

Take note of the following when you select Control Account Key Fields in the Criteria field:

  • Cobra displays the key fields being used and the corresponding label for each key field.
  • You can select a value for each key field.
  • Values not populated will be considered a wild card instead of a blank selection.
  • Cobra populates a value for at least one key field. If all key fields are not populated, Cobra displays a message informing the user to select at least one key field.

Selection This field is available only if you select a criterion other than Total Project in the Criteria field. Click to display the dialog box that lists all valid options based on the selected criterion. For example, if you select Control Account in the Criteria field, the Control Account Lookup dialog box displays, showing all control accounts used in the selected project.
Include all children Selecting this option instructs Cobra to run the Update Codes process against the code fields that use the selected code and its children.
