Profit and Loss By Organization

This screen displays Organizational Expenses in a P&L format summarized at the Org level selected in the Navigation page. The report in this screen presents history that allows managers to recognize trends throughout the year as well as identify how lower level organizations are contributing to the overall picture.

If your company accounting system P&L reporting settings are based on projects that are owned by an organization, you’ll see all hours charged by person, by project over time if you choose the P&L Based option. If you select Home Based, then you’ll see the time charges of all employees that belong to your org by person, by project, and/or indirect account over time.

If your P&L reporting settings are based on employees that are owned by an organization, you’ll see the direct time charges of all employees by person, by project, plus all the indirect charges to your org, (including staff from other orgs) when you choose the P&L Based option. If you select Home Based, you see all hours charged by your staff no matter what project or indirect account objective was charged.

You can filter the report to show all accounts or opt to view the report per quarter.
