Adopt a Proposal as the Project Budget After Contract Award

To adopt a proposal as the project budget after contract award, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Project as the management context.

  2. Select the New Business & Proposals module.

  3. In Reports & Actions, select N.P.I.8 Create Budget From Proposal.

  4. Click Open to open the dialog box.

  5. Click Select to choose a proposal from the list. All the proposals in the list are not linked to your accounting system, so be sure to select an available project that has a project ID that matches the proposal.

  6. Click Create to open the budget. Budgeting & Planning merges the project and the proposal to create a fully populated budget.

  7. Click the Burdened Costs tab to view revenue, cost, and profit figures.
