Non-backlog project budget is a proposal that has been promoted to the special status of being a high probability potential award. Budgeting & Planning considers the special status non-backlog proposal as part of a reconciliation process that substantiates the level of operations that is reflected in the budget of a given organization.

To create a non-backlog project budget from a proposal or from another non-backlog project budget, you can select either Proposal or NB Budget option buttons then click Select next to the Project ID you want to use. Budgeting & Planning assigns an incremental version number for you. You can edit the Start and End dates by either entering a date manually or by clicking image1.gif then selecting a date from the calendar that displays.
